Why Give Through PCCF ?
Personalized Giving Solutions
The Phillips County Community Foundation offers a wide variety of options to satisfy your philanthropic goals. From establishing a donor advised fund in which you are able to have a direct say over how your funds are allocated or an unrestricted fund where you are able to leave a legacy to your community foundation and they allocate funds over the years to come as they see fit.Support Community Needs
What better way to leave a lasting legacy than to preserve a community set to thrive for generations in the years to come. Here at PCCF, we can help you achieve this. By establishing an endowment fund, we invest those funds and only make withdrawals from the capital, not the principal; this is also called a permanent endowment fund.Greatest Tax Benefits
Community foundations provide maximum federal and state tax benefits, tailor giving plans to meet your particular needs, and provide a more simplified and cost effective alternative to a private foundation. We're a Trusted Partner
Around since 2003, the Phillips County Community Foundation is an established partner with trusted staff and directors. We aim to make you and your philanthropic goals, our top priority.A donor may contribute cash or property to the foundation at any time during the year. A contribution is deemed made at the time of its delivery to the foundation in accordance with applicable law.
How Does a Person Give?
In partnering with PCCF, you first need to decide what’s important to you. What charitable organization or aspect of our rural way of life do you want to help sustain. After that question has been answered, a simple phone call to the Foundation office can start one on the road towards charitable giving.
What Can a Person Give?
-
Cash, stocks and bonds, real estate and life insurance.
-
Cash gift is simplest way to establish a named fund or add to an existing fund.
-
Stocks and bonds can also be used to establish a named fund or add to an existing.
If a donor names the Foundation as the owner and beneficiary of an existing or new life insurance policy, you receive an immediate tax deduction, which usually approximates the cash surrender value of the policy.
Memorial Gifts
Special funds can be created to handle tributes and memorials. Donors can use this giving option to:
-
Create a scholarship
-
Support a favorite charity
-
Create or sustain a youth program that keeps the memory of a loved one
Gift of Grain
By donating grain, farmers have the ability to make a gift to PCCF. For many cash basis farmers, significant tax savings can be achieved by donating crops directly to the Foundation.
