Why Give Through PCCF ?
Phillips County Community Foundation offers a variety of options to achieve your philanthropic goals. We can assist you in establishing a Donor Advised Fund, designated fund to benefit a charity, memorial, legacy gift, or other charitable fund that may be permanently endowed or distributed in full over a period of time.
Leave a legacy that will support a community need for generations. Endowed funds are invested so that earnings provide financial support to help meet the needs.
As a 501c3 public charity, PCCF can accept tax deductible gifts. We will work with your tax advisor to create a gift to provide you with planned tax benefits.
The Phillips County Community Foundation is a long-established entity with a history of serving the non-profits in Phillips County. We will partner with you to achieve your philanthropic goals as you “look forward by giving back”.
PCCF provides the services you need when you establish a fund: investing, record keeping, distributing grant and award funds, honoring your wishes.
As a community foundation, PCCF is an ideal conduit for your legacy gift. Far into the future, you will impact a charitable cause close to your heart by providing a financial support. PCCF will honor your wishes by investing the funds and working with the recipient.
A donor may contribute cash or property to the foundation at any time during the year. A contribution is deemed made at the time of its delivery to the foundation in accordance with applicable law.
How Does a Person Give?
In partnering with PCCF, you first need to decide what’s important to you. What charitable organization or aspect of our rural way of life do you want to help sustain. After that question has been answered, a simple phone call to the Foundation office can start one on the road towards charitable giving.
What Can a Person Give?
-
Cash, stocks and bonds, real estate and life insurance.
-
Cash gift is simplest way to establish a named fund or add to an existing fund.
-
Stocks and bonds can also be used to establish a named fund or add to an existing.
If a donor names the Foundation as the owner and beneficiary of an existing or new life insurance policy, you may receive an immediate tax deduction, which usually approximates the cash surrender value of the policy.
Memorial Gifts
Special funds can be created to handle tributes and memorials. Donors can use this giving option to:
-
Create a scholarship
-
Support a favorite charity
-
Create or sustain a youth program that keeps the memory of a loved one
Gift of Grain
By donating grain, farmers have the ability to make a gift to PCCF. For many cash basis farmers, significant tax savings can be achieved by donating crops directly to the Foundation.
